Welcome, Fairfax

The Labor Day Car Show logo

We are thrilled to welcome The Labor Day Car Show to Car Show HQ.

If you are anywhere near Fairfax on Labor Day, you know this one: 27 years running, more than 400 cars filling Old Town Fairfax, and every dollar of proceeds going to local charities. It started as a small show in the Town of Clifton and grew into the largest car show in Northern Virginia, and the largest in Fairfax County history. The 2025 show fielded 423 cars.

What running on Car Show HQ means for show day

This year, the show runs on Car Show HQ: online registration, day-of check-in, and live voting from any phone. No paper ballots, no counting by hand, and results ready before the crowd goes home.

A show this size is exactly the day the platform was built around. Four hundred cars means four hundred windshield cards, thousands of votes, and an awards hour that used to belong to a counting table. The counting happens as the votes land now, so it belongs to the awards again.

The registration kiosk and the voting station are web pages on an iPad in a stand. Here is the setup in the order you will do it: which iPad, how many, the day code the night before, and the one scan that readies each tablet on show morning.

Gear and services: what we put on the check-in table

Which tablet, which card reader, how do you keep it all charged. We answered the three questions every first-time organizer asks, once, and put the list in Manage, next to a Services tab of vendors other organizers recommend.

What’s new on Car Show HQ, September 2026

We ran a 407-car show on Labor Day, then built what it taught us: a location check with three settings, votes that save as you go, spectator donations, PayPal, your own site pages, and a media library. All free, all live now.
