Fundraising

Turn your event into a real car show fundraiser instead of a gate that breaks even. Add a donation tip jar and a public donate page with its own QR code, priced sponsor tiers with a public sponsor page, and optional paid car-number picks. Every dollar in car show donations and sponsorship is paid into your own account, because we never hold your money.

Tip jar

A tip jar that lifts every car show fundraiser

Turn on the tip jar and everyone who registers gets preset give buttons at $5, $10, $25, and $50, plus an amount of their own. There’s no hard sell. It sits right in the checkout flow they’re already in, and at a benefit show it quietly outraises the gate more weekends than you’d guess. Turn on the public donate page and spectators can give from a QR code on the ballot, on the big-screen leaderboard, or on a card at the tent, with your own message at the top and every dollar landing in the club’s own account.

Sponsor tiers

Car show sponsorship without the back and forth

Price your tiers with any names you like, Gold, Silver, Bronze or something with more personality. Your public show page invites businesses to sponsor, and a dedicated sponsor page shows the tier cards with a request form that lands in your inbox with handled-or-not tracking. Paid sponsors appear on the show page with their logo and tier badge, automatically.

Car-number picks

Turn car numbers into a small fundraiser

Let entrants pay a little extra to claim a favorite car number instead of taking whatever is next. The 442 owner wants 442. Taken numbers are rejected up front so nobody buys a duplicate, and the upsell price is yours to set per show.

Tiers that build the page

Build Gold, Silver and Bronze once

Sponsor tiers are real things you build, not a text box you retype every year: a name, a price, and what the sponsor gets, in whatever order you want them shown. The public “want to sponsor the show?” pitch is generated from those tiers, so your sponsorship page writes itself as soon as they exist. Sponsor logos on the show page carry a colored badge for their tier, and renaming a tier renames every badge with it, so the pitch and the badges cannot drift apart halfway through the season.

Car show fundraiser questions, answered

How does a car show fundraiser make money beyond entry fees?

Entry fees are just the start. A donation tip jar lets anyone round up when they register or vote, priced sponsor tiers bring in local businesses, and optional paid car-number picks add a little more. Stack those together and a show raises well past what the gate alone would collect.

How do car show sponsorships work?

You create named, priced sponsor tiers and share one request form. Local businesses sign up and pay online, then land on a public sponsor page with their name and logo. It gives them real visibility for backing your show, and it saves you from chasing checks by hand.

Who keeps the money from donations and sponsorships?

You do. Tips, sponsorships, and entry fees are paid directly into your own connected payment account. Car Show HQ is never the merchant of record and never holds your funds, so your money never touches us. Refunds and disputes are handled by your payment provider, minus standard payment processing.

Do you need a nonprofit to run a car show fundraiser?

No. Plenty of car show fundraisers are run by clubs, schools, churches, and small groups raising money for a cause rather than a registered nonprofit. You decide where the funds go, and the money lands in the payment account you connect.

How do I set up sponsorship levels?

Build each tier on the Sponsors page with a name, a price, and what that sponsor gets. Your public sponsorship pitch is generated from those tiers automatically, and each sponsor's logo carries a badge in their tier's color. Change a tier name once and every badge and the pitch update together.
