The fine print, in plain language
It usually pays for itself
The donation tip jar and sponsor tiers built into your show can bring in more than the plan costs, so the fee comes out of new money, not the club budget.

Registered 501(c)(3) shows can go white-label free or at a reduced rate. Reach out and we will get you set up.

Registration payments go straight from your registrants into your own payment account. We are never the merchant of record and never take a cut of your gate. The plan fee is the only thing we bill, separately.
Why organizers switch →Pricing questions, answered
How much does Car Show HQ cost?
The full product is free with no feature or size limits and no card on file. If you want the show fully under your own brand, a white-label pass costs $39 for a small show, $79 for a medium one, or $149 for a large one, or $199 a year for unlimited white-label shows.
What is the catch with the free plan?
There's no feature catch. Free shows run on a carshowhq.com web address and display a small "Run your show on Car Show HQ" card. Registration, sponsor tiers, QR voting, and automatic tallies all work exactly the same as on white-label shows.
Is there an overage charge if my show runs bigger than expected?
No. You pay for the pass you picked, there's no surprise per-car charge if more cars register, and we never hold your results back. If your show grows, you can move from Small to Medium or Large yourself from your Billing tab and pay only the difference. It is your call, and nothing is held back if you skip it.
When am I charged for white-label?
When you connect your own domain, or when you hide the Car Show HQ marks. Setup, configuration, and duplicating last year are always free, so you can build the whole show, show it to your board, and decide later.
How do I actually buy a pass?
From the Billing tab inside your show. Pick the pass, review a page that spells out exactly what you will be charged, and pay through Stripe's hosted checkout. Card details never touch Car Show HQ. The pass switches on by itself the moment payment clears, and the show is white-label from then on.
If I stop paying, does my show lose its address?
No. A show that went live white-label stays that way for good, so old links, printed QR codes, and last year's winners page keep working. Letting a plan lapse only affects new shows.
Does Car Show HQ take a cut of registration money?
No. Entry fees, sponsor payments, and donations settle to your own payment account, and Car Show HQ is never the merchant of record. We bill the white-label fee to the organizer directly, completely separate from event money.
