FAQs: Show day: check-in, windshield cards, and the gate

A volunteer handed over a card and forgot to press Check in. Does it matter?

Less than you’d think. By default any registered car is on the ballot whether or not it was checked in, so the car can still win. If a car is getting votes without a check-in, the dashboard and the Results page say so, and one button checks in every registered car still waiting.
